Círculo de Puerto Rico, Inc. Supports the Fight Against Breast Cancer

CPRI,

Oct 6, 2025

Círculo de Puerto Rico, Inc. (CPRI) is proud to announce its contribution of $300 to the American Cancer Society’s Making Strides of San Juan, Puerto Rico. This donation was made specifically to support Dr. María del Carmen Hernández Llado in her fundraising initiative “Mujeres Visten de Rosa 2025”, benefiting the American Cancer Society. As a spokesperson, she has expressed her wish to raise awareness about the importance of early cancer detection and to highlight the socio-emotional processes that support acceptance, healthy grieving, and overall well-being.

For more than 30 years, Making Strides Against Breast Cancer has brought communities together to save lives, honor survivors, and remember loved ones. Contributions to this movement help fund vital cancer research, support patients during treatment, and plan prevention efforts so breast cancer can be detected early and treated more effectively. More than just a walk, this movement unites us to show support for the cause and work toward a future free from breast cancer. The American Cancer Society Making Strides event in San Juan, Puerto Rico, will be held on November 2, 2025, at 2:00 p.m.

This contribution was made possible thanks to the dedication of our members and the incredible support of everyone who participates in our fundraising events. Your involvement ensures that CPRI can continue to stand alongside organizations like the American Cancer Society in the fight against breast cancer.

At CPRI, we believe in the power of community and solidarity. Together, we can make a difference.
