Allison, originally from Chile, is an Industrial Civil Engineer and international student who recently completed an associate degree in Business Management at Northern Virginia Community College. Since mid-June, she has joined Círculo de Puerto Rico as our new social media and communications assistant. Her role is key in enhancing our content development, communication strategies, and digital presence—including social media and website optimization—to promote CPRI’s mission and amplify awareness of our fundraising events.
“We want to highlight Allison’s commitment and the improvements she’s made to our website, making it more organized, dynamic, and accessible,” said Nayda, president of CPRI. “Allison, welcome to the team!”
A core part of our mission is to support students across the DMV region—whether local, immigrant, or international—so they can pursue their education with the dignity, resources, and encouragement they need. We’re proud to offer internship opportunities like Allison’s to help emerging professionals strengthen their skills and gain meaningful experience.
This year, we also donated $3,000 to the Latin American Youth Center (LAYC), supporting programs for youth aged 11 to 24 and reaffirming our commitment to education and opportunity.
We invite you to be part of this positive change that’s transforming lives. Visit the events section on our website for details, and don’t miss “Bohemia Night 2025”—an evening of art, live Puerto Rican music by José Luis Baco, and an exquisite buffet at La Fiamma Italian Kitchen.
